The (DELTA)WOLF is now at my door!

Glem.Chally....

It was explained to me that the DW operates as a reg'd ag while on reg and similar to a Red Wolf when below reg... compensates as it drops in pressure below the reg. I set the reg on the test unit I have to 149 and was able to get 60 shots at 932 to 947 with MRD's before the reg pressure was below set point. 50 ft lb... approx. THEN I shot another 5 mags and STILL in the 930's. Down to 99 bar when I stopped. The SUGGESTED set point for the 22, based on the limited info I've been given was 190 Bar but I think that is only necessary if I'm trying to make max power w Beasts, and even there, it will still operate the same. The suggested set point for the 25 was 175.

The chrono, on board, is pretty cool and seems to be within a fps or 2 of my LabRadar.

The 25 makes power much easier in mine than the 22 but haven't run a long documented string yet.

It's cool that S1Mark has a production model w latest software. I'm also interested to see how it compares to the one I've been testing .

Strange that it makes that power (930fps at 100 Bar) but the regs are set so high when it's apparently nowhere near needed. Anyways mystical guns and sounds like a winner you got there.👍

No, it doesn't work. Not needed. You can program from the screen in "Advanced Mode" any custom tuning you want. You have control over reg pressure, voltage, and time (pulse width... dwell). It is mind boggling how many ways you can achieve the same velocity..... almost too much. Hopefully it will come with recommendations for certain settings as a start point. It's VERY cool to have the chrono for instant feedback. Seems to be VERY reliable and accurate so far.

Hopefully, this next week, I'll get a chance to compare the newest production version to the one I've been testing for several weeks. Looking forward to hearing what Spray1Mark has to say.

Only managed to get to 50 indoors today but it was obviously pretty much a foregone conclusion that it would be single holes with JSB MKII & KINGS and it was, what was also encouraging was the JSB KO's, KO MKII and the prototype H&N 6.36 34g slugs were also amazing!

Some pics to come of 100 yards when I try them shortly (yes I admit I left my phone at home today).

Sorry guys but still not got to 100 yards, we had some snow and a LOT of rain, so many places are flooded including our range! this really is not a fun Christmas not being able to play!

The only thing that did cheer me up was Soren shooting his .177 HP Redwolf at 164 yards with slugs and an 8 shot group way less than 1 MOA, Soren is waiting patiently for his DELTAWOLF in .177 HP to arrive!

Their big improvement is that fine-tuning electric hammer that has no bounces, they were to make a much larger plenum for larger calibers, and for the first time have a balanced valve similar to the FX valve...

Atom, I’m not sure I’m catching what you’re saying about the FX valve being Ballanced. It’s a regular knock open valve just in a different configuration. There is zero balance involved there.

As someone who has been using this rifle (pre production) for a while would you care to comment on whether or not the POI changes or remains constant through normal use. Some people keep commenting on it being a copy of an Impact and I was wondering if it shared some of the Impact's reported idiosyncrasies.

It has a 15mm barrel that's well supported. . So no, poi is consistent.

I'm certainly aware of the the black rifle form being attributed to the Impact first, but puzzled why there are so many calling the Delta Wolf a copy .... but not the other black rifle brand/models? This rifle DOES use some ideas from the Red Wolf but is an all new design from the beginning. As others have noted on trying the rifle I currently have ... It's very pleasant and pretty cool to shoot. My part in this is not to review ... that's for others. I CAN answer SOME specific questions , though.

There is still MUCH to learn about it....

I shot the one that Arzrover has and gotta x2 here, "very pleasant and pretty cool to shoot."

He had the .25 in it that day for testing and it was putting them where I wanted pretty good. Wind was quite stout but the high point was putting a couple into a sub moa group at 100 yards, with multiple pellets striking the hole from the previous one. I couldn't stay for long but remember shooting only 5 or 6 groups so no attempt at a "review" here, but my initial impressions:. Firing cycle similar to Red Wolf, but also different enough to know that I was shooting an entirely different beast. Very unique "feel." Trigger couldn't have been more than a couple ounces and CRISP like a RW electronic trigger. Could be tune related, but it seems to be quicker in getting the pellet gone after touching the trigger than the RW. VERY neat to glance down at the screen after each shot and be able to see THAT particular shot's fps, without jumping through the hoops of setting up chrono/Labradar and being concerned with muzzle placement for good readings without shooting the chrono device. He had me shoot a couple different weights of pellets and walked me through adjusting the power output between each pellet. Screen adjustment's were very simple/intuitive.

Extremely cool gun. Brings a lot of intriguing features to the table that make it a VERY different gun than everything that I've had the privilege to shoot, even in the prototype form that I very briefly experienced.

Thanks for the information with regard to whether or not the POI changed. I will likely be buying one and that was my only concern.

Hello Spray1Mark.

While we are locked down and unable to Live a life😒.

Would you kindly test your D/Wolfs (.25) spread of power on standard set up, i.e. how low can you dial the power on the standard setting, you showed us the high power limit with with the JSB 33.95 (945 fps) what can it go down to.

Also "945fps", is that a set max speed irrespective of pellet weight 25g v 33g, ( probably ) a silly question, however we are dealing with the unknown.

reason I ask,

on the permissions I have, I hope to keep the Farmers happy by removing pests from inside cattle sheds/chicken houses ect (at a safer low power setting), and then power up to walk the fields shooting Rabbits ect

( I am already living this in my Head😜).

good luck getting out.
