The (DELTA)WOLF is now at my door!

Display is nice, scope is mounted and I must admit it's very comfortable in the shoulder, feels very different to my IMPACT not sure why, could be the very wide range of mounting length and the fact that the cheekpiece can also be moved!

Put my favorite ACCUTAC BR4 on and a 0DB mod and we are ready to go!

Expensive? yes, how can I justify the outlay?

My top interest is will it serve a two guns in one, Meaning?.

I would want to be able to take it to the farm , wind it down to sub 20ftlbf and shoot pigeons and rats in the barn without worrying about pass through (damaging the roof ect), then with a few presses of a button (sic) it is up to 60ftlbf+ and I am shooting out to 100m+ at rabbits (or 100yards at EBR cards if you like)

Two guns in one + a free chronograph, It starts to look a decent deal.

Great logic . . . not that I wasn't going to get one anyways but now you've just justified it for me! ;)

Well I read the manual and went through the programming, although I was initially a bit worried it was actually really simple! the .25 speed was set at 945 FPS with a 33.95g projectile (max on the standard factory program) I always find that around 880 is best with the JSB MKII Heavy so I dropped the velocity to 880 and on the 3rd shot the gun was doing 879 FPS, brilliant!

Mark a quick ?.

In your pic showing the display , bottom reading " PRES 170 bar", is that the bottle reading?,

if so I am confused* , as every pic I can remember seeing of the display shows than figure as lower than the top " 174 bar reg " reading (in your pic.

*nothing new there.

Apologies harry I somehow misssed this, the two figures are the reference pressure in the program and the plenum figure (as in the IMPACT rear gauge reading) hope that makes sense?

Truthfully harry the gun software is very simple as long as you bother to read the manual, nothing to be worried about it will all make sense once you get one in your hands!

I can now confirm that the shot count on "like for like" velocity in .25 is on par with the IMPACT I have in .25 which is great!

These photos were ruined by the unfortunate placement of that analog reading device . . . can you remove that antiquated piece of technology and redo all of the photos??? ;)

Thanks jaird, to be fair I think shooting the JSB MKII it will be pretty much guaranteed sub MOA at 100 yards, I have used one of these .25 barrels already and they are amazing!

What I am really looking forward to is being able to whizz the velocity up and down at the press of a button and seeing how that affects other projectiles i.e. slugs!

The point with the DELTAWOLF is that changing the velocity on the screen is NOT the same as simply adjusting the hammer spring on other guns, the programming will re-balance and map all the parameters automatically.

LOL! we are locked down so I can't go to the range until the lockdown is relaxed next week sadly!

Can’t you just say you’re protesting something or rioting? Then it would be fine to defy the lockdown... ;) As everyone knows, Covid is a smart virus and doesn’t affect rioters and looters....
