The (DELTA)WOLF is now at my door!

Well after a call yesterday to say the first batch of DELTAWOLF in .25 & .30 were on their way to AOA and that mine was ready to colllect I was really excited!

Picked it up at the factory today, got a rundown from Tony and I must say when I opened the case the production version looks way nicer in the flesh than any of the test units I have seen, a very high end finish as you would expect from a piece of technology at this level.

I must admit to getting a bit lost at all of the background electronic wizardry and how it has developed into the final "intelligent" gun. I am also very impressed that DAYSTATE held out and refused to ship the guns until every single part of it was working flawlessly, despite all the stick they got for it taking longer than expected, COVID restrictions adding significantly to this of course and outside DAYSTATES control and thats coming from the most impatient person on the planet!

Anyway I have a handbook to read and a scope to mount, then it's off to the range with a stack of .25 pellets and slugs, including the MKII JSB KO and some H&N prototypes made to suit the .25 ART barrels.

Hope those who have pre-ordered from AOA get their XMAS pressies very soon!

I am lucky I know that, certainly I will push it way beyond normal expectations to see what it can really do. I am told 5 or so shots and the intelligent chip in the chrono (which wasn't in the original spec) will "learn" where it is from referencing the pre-programmed curves and then the fun really starts!

Almost a little scary having a gun as smart as this, kinda like the Will Smith movie!

I instinctively know it will be amazing with the JSB MKII Heavies at 100 yards+ but I want to see if I can really give it a running with other projectiles! then it will be a .30 barrel and probe to see what it can do, but at the moment demand is so high all the availible .30 barrels are going into complete guns and being shipped to AOA!

Expensive? yes, how can I justify the outlay?

My top interest is will it serve a two guns in one, Meaning?.

I would want to be able to take it to the farm , wind it down to sub 20ftlbf and shoot pigeons and rats in the barn without worrying about pass through (damaging the roof ect), then with a few presses of a button (sic) it is up to 60ftlbf+ and I am shooting out to 100m+ at rabbits (or 100yards at EBR cards if you like)

Two guns in one + a free chronograph, It starts to look a decent deal.
