When AoA sends the pin for the actuator they always send the o-ring with it, I’m assuming because the o-ring deteriorates with use and time? Don’t know size? but can see if you can match it with assistance from o-rings and more, in pic. You can see O-ring under the cup and slides onto the smaller dia. Of pin that slides through the cup it’s easier to reinstall this way if you didn’t see O-ring it’s probably still in the O-ring well that’s under the cup?

Thank you very very much for your help.

All done ! could not have done it without your and Arzover guidance.

The o ring was there.

Its seems so simple now... after the event hehehe

do you loctite the 2 screws in the end?

Mine did the same. You will need to degas to get pressure off the valve body. Use a socket to loosen the fill nipple till you hear air escaping. When the air is gone, should be able to put the cup back in.

Don't forget to tighten the fill nipple before refilling .

Bob

Thank you Bob. You were of great help. degassing worked like a charm !

@arzrover @nomoj065 and All ...

Guys, I'm experiencing wild fluctuations in fps from my RW HP .22. It was shooting between 930 - 940 per fill since I bought the gun, now it's ranging from 901 to 925 (RD monsters). My accuracy is suffering as well.

The issue started at EBR, the 75 qualifying round, I blew a breech seal for the 1st time (yes, a Viton, chewed up). I had the seal replaced with a standard buna (thanks to Precision AG's!) before the next round and not much time to sight in. After the seal replacement, I bounced back on the 2nd card, and shot a 215, 5 X's. However, I knew I could do better if my scope was properly aligned and such.

Fast forward a couple weeks after EBR. When I got home, I shot it at 50yds and couldn't hit the target nor the 3ft X 5ft cardboard! WT? I tried at 25yrds, same thing. I immediately checked my scope rings and my barrel for tightness ... both seemed good. I loosened up the no-limits, zero'd @ 25yds and went to 50yds. My groupings were terrible. Set up the chrony and noticed the wide spread in fps... I brought the gun back to my truck and replaced the buna seal which had an unusual flat spot on it with a new viton. Shot it over the chrony and the shot string ranged from 915 - 930, still terrible groups.

My questions - could emptying the air out of the gun before flight (dry fire, and opened the valve with 100 psi left) have anything to do with it? Also, after shooting ~500 pellets, my battery still showed 100% charged (hmm, this was never the case) Perhaps inconsistent voltage, battery is NFG? Or a leaking actuator seal? My gun is holding air perfectly sitting in the gun cabinet.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. BTW - I just polished the barrel and replaced the breech seal again... do to the weather, I haven't tested it yet. Rain, rain, and more rain.

Thanks,

Carl

I’m pretty sure I know what’s going on... take action out of stock carefully, now at back of action just under throw lever pivot you will see two small HEX head screws ( If I remember right they are oriented 90deg to throw lever pivot?, also they are on opposite side of action as the L.E.D display ) make sure they are tight! one or both may be loose and backed out and or one or both maybe sheared off! If they are sheared send it back to AoA for repair. I don’t have my gun in front of me or I would shoot you some pics any way if uncomfortable doing this contact AoA they can walk you through it “ the reason I know this is one screw was loose other sheared off “ buy the way this lets the board know whether the gun is on safe or “energized” and shorts across contacts causing serious velocity fluctuations!!!

Here are the two Allen head screw’s that you need to make sure are tight,( actually don’t have to take action completely out of stock!, just loosen action bolt and swing stock down enough to get at screws )- don’t reef on them!, sorry I wasn’t entirely clear on explanation it’s been awhile! “Getting old” good idea to check these from time to time just to make sure, I do it when ever I charge battery!

I have a question.

My recently purchased used Red Wolf HP in 22 cal. is leaking. It's coming out the barrel or breech if it's open. Anyone know the common cause and/or repair? I can hear it when filling from empty.

When I received the rifle from the previous owner it was degassed for shipping purposes. I filled it and test fired a couple of shots that night. Next day empty. Upon the previous owners recommendation charged battery, refilled and changed power setting held air for two weeks until I shot it last week. Checked it last night empty again. I then recharged battery and filled again. This morning it was empty again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
