DAYSTATE REPORT

Yup both of mine are in .177 and the RW is quieter. With the Donny FL moderator on it, sort of sounds like it is busted or something is wrong. All I hear is the hammer. With the Wolverine R I hear the hammer and a slight bark, still quiet compared to other guns. RW is shooting 10.3s at 865 and Wolverine R is at 890

I'm looking to possibly move into the Daystate brand for a .30 cal to be used on groundhogs out to 100 yds.

Any advice on model?

Between those 2 ( DAYSTATE-fx ) DAYSTATE all the way! ( my opinion only ) .22 against a .25!

I have one on hand with less than 100 rounds through it. Mint condition.

Never get to use it due to sound of heavy thud when pellet hits target -- makes my neighbors nervous.

I posted these in another link. But here are some 5 shots @ 50 yard targets with my RW .22 HP. Can't wait to get it out farther and see how she does. Loving this gun.

My HP is shooting the .22 25gr pellets at about 950-975. It gets to a 50 yard target in a real hurry. And at 60 fpe, it hits like a truck.

If I was going to buy either .177 or .22, I would look at the .22 right now. They are making round nose pellets (typical JSB style) that have a really good BC. Yesterday in the wind, it didn't make any difference at 50 yards. Only the gusts made the pellet drift a bit. It looks like these are pretty stable in the wind up to about 5 mph.

Very good read. I knew this already from my days of having a .22 Air Wolf MCT but it’s all being refreshed now. I actually lost a bit of interest in the AW MCT the last few years. With desire to shoot precision at longer ranges, I looked to the .25 & .30 knowing that the most accurate .22 pellets, available at the time, would get bullied by the wind. I felt the .25 AW MCT was a bit underpowered and it never wet my whistle.

With this new redesigned 25 gr .22 Monster now out, and the new .22 Daystate Red Wolf HP which seems to be more tunable, I have had to take notice. The LW poly barrel is an obvious benefit as well. The results folks have reported are very impressive. Reading/revisiting the significantly reduced lock time of the MCT system just solidifies the overall wonderment of this package. I made the decision to get one ?..........This airgun hobby is too much fun.

Right on zx10wall. I bought mine through Ken Hicks as well. Top notch service and communication as well. Whenever I need something, I go to his sight first to see if he carries it. You are gonna love that RW. It is one of the finest guns I own.
