The Coyotes are infiltrating and I need to take action

Hi Hunt Junky I am in CT here we have no Rabbits no more and many of these which ate them all , I had a friend walking a dog they grabbed him off the leash , I always watched hunts for this on youtube and thought they were very timid around people , and very good hunters , but these are like in packs and when they come 10 feet from door , it isnt good if you are a small child or a dog or cat , If I saw them across my pond like 125 yards from house I would of not got one , But its been a week and none came back The leader is still out there , I counted like 15 left , a few said when it is cold they don't move much last few days it was -10 degrees to 0 degrees ,

next week it will be 40 degrees so we shall see if they come back

titus is healed and is enjoying his enemy for supper , I shall post making titus a coyote camouflage outfit with his hide , it is drying on a board now .

CRITICAL WAR UPDATE

I spoke to BOB-O and he likes his thermal monocular for spotting game ,as he says it is better , I had bid on a few on E-bay and lost them , However I made a deal on a Leopold Thermal Tracker LTO HD 2019 Model , I will try it out and get you guys some footage and let you know how they work , I spoke to them and they told me you can use them during day for small game and spot say a squirrel in seconds Hmm this mite be a good tool .

I got to be honest when I was young I can swing around a 30 pound 50BMG rifle , but to hold a rifle and scan for a a long time in cold it was very taxing on me , not like squirrel hunting carrying a pcp , as with nite-vision and recorder and , batteries and a bipod the gun gets heavy after a while , I was not here I could rest it at many times . well ok 10 -4 for now

If we didn't live so far from each other, I'd volunteer to take out them Coyotes myself, been trapping and calling them for 50 years.

Your best bet is to trap them with leg hold traps and or snares. Do a little research on the internet for "fur trappers association" in your area. You will find a trapper who would be more than happy to catch them for you. it's getting a little late in the season but Fur may still be "prime" in your area making it more enticing.

Update The battle has been fierce my fingers are blistered , soon I shall post footage , we are holding out ground , titus is dug in with the Leshiy for the small stuff and I am using heavy artillery with the big stuff , I also want to update our use of the Leupold thermal tracker 2 hd

It is useful at nite , and on a non sunny day for tracking , but in snow I have problem viewing screen

The leader of the Coyotes is The Black tipped tail one , he has not shown his face but we have seen him lurking on the treeline telling his posse how to infiltrate , I have to think of the leader is similar to the Gremlin with the stripe in Gremlins movie , or if they were terrorists , He is Ben laden where he is hiding as he knows he cant win but he puts his troops on the line to be picked off ,

Yhe update on the BIg cats are ,they called BOB cats and are protected here in my state Last nite I watched one grab a chicken threw a fence and ripped off this head , but I could not take him out , While viewing this threw my scope I pulled out the Tracker thermo and , I saw the chickens blood squirt in the air and hit the snow about 40 yards away ,
