The best 300bar compressor

As maligned as the Yong Heng is, it does work. I've been using mine for something like 3 years now, and yes, I've had problems but when it's working properly, 300 bar, no problem. I hear fewer complaints with the newer models, and at under $300, you can buy an extra and still be $$ ahead.

In my mind, either go with a Carette and choke the price once at $1300 and up, or go as cheap as possible and just maintain a YH. Either plan works, both have up sides and down sides. Your call. Personally, I don't believe there's a single best compressor. . . . . .

Love the Yong Heng for an inexpensive and over a medium price compressor as well.

If you don't want to tinker with this or that once or twice a year you will need to spend the $$ and go with an Alkin, Bauer or Coltri.

It all depends on your budget. State your maximum allowable output and you will get some good recommendations for that price level. What you are asking is similar to if I asked what was the best car.
