Ian Harford isn’t going to let bad weather ruin his Air Arms Adventure, he’s heading out into the snow with the Air Arms Galahad: The Ultimate Hunting Bullpup Air Rifle.

During his previous outing, Ian took a closer look at the Air Arms S510 Ultimate Sporter. (Please click here to watch now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R44eQl4YIZM)

Today, mounted with the Hawke Sidewinder 8.5-25x42 scope, Ian explores the beautiful British countryside and explains why the Galahad is the ideal air rifle for long-range pest control shooting.

Available in rifle and carbine actions, the Galahad has been specifically designed with many features, perfect for hunting.

There are three fully ambidextrous stock options to chose from – walnut, black soft touch and beech. The forward mounted cocking lever can be attached on the left or right side of the action, allowing easy and smooth cocking. The unique pistol grip offers a lot more flexibility than a standard thumbnail, aiding additional shooting positions, such as elevated or declining shoots.

These are just some of the features that beginners and experienced pest controllers require in a hunting air rifle.

The Air Arms Galahad is ideally suited to any hunting environment, whether that is shooting vermin in or around farm buildings where you have little space. Or out in the woods where you'll be ducking in-between branches and bushes.

“The Air Arms Galahad is undoubtedly a classic Air Arms rifle.” - Ian Harford

I own two Air Arms PCP's, both S500's, in .177 and .22 caliber - great guns and love them!
I also own the Air Arms TX 200 MK III and ProSport - won't part with either of them.
However, I beg to differ on the "ultimate hunting bullpup" claim for the Galahad. I'm sure others will chime in, but aside from the looks which are polarizing to the majority of shooters, there are much better bullpup PCP's for equal or less $$ that just outcompete the Galahad both in looks and performance. Example: Kalibrgun Cricket, Taipan Veteran/Mutant, AGT Vulcan, FX Wildcat, EDgun Matador/Lelya, etc. just to name a few.
If the Galahad was lower in price, I could see where people might overlook the "looks" and consider buying.

I own a Galahad carbine.
And a Vulcan .25 and a Mutant .22 shorty Veteran, used to own a .25 Wildcat and currently in the process of building a marauder bull pup.
I guess you could say I’m a fan of bull pups. ?
For me I guess, the performance of the gun outweighs it’s appearance.

The feature that I appreciate the most on the Galahad is the power adjuster. Coupled with the regulator, the Gallahad allows me to shoot a gun in three of my favorite formats with the power (or lack there of) without the worry about the pressure in the tank. I shoot 10 meter steel silhouette (4 perfect scores to its credit), field target (two-38/40’s last year), and hunting with the gun. Seldom is the gun on full power, as I have found it to be as accurate on the next to the highest setting, and just as lethal on small game giving me even more shots.
The Galahad on power setting 2 & 3 is ideal for small pest control at a local farm and some businesses where power is secondary but stealth and accuracy are paramount.
No other gun that I’m aware of can you take from shooting indoors safely to outdoor hunting with just the turn of a dial. For me, having one gun that provides this level of flexibility is well worth the cost.
Kudos Air Arms. Keep up the fantastic work.

I first bought an Air Arms S510 in .22 cal , it shot and functioned so good that I turned right around and bought an Air Arms Ultimate sporter .22 . Wow, now you want to talk about quiet , this is it , and just as accurate . It didn’t stop there ,I then turned around as soon as they released the Air Arms Galahad carbine , purchased one in .22 . I routinely shoot half inch groups in my back yard at 50 yards. TWO THUMBS UP AIR ARMS.. now I can’t wait to get my hands on one of the new regulated Ultimate Sporters... oh yea and NEVER had any issues with quality control issues....
