The 2018 USARB Benchrest National Championship at Phoenix Airgun Club

Sweetness!!! I hear EBR is not having 25m BR anymore, now its 50,75 and 100 yards. Have you heard this?

Are you aware that this overlaps with the Field Target Nationals?

Not the same days, but that's not the point. It is that if one wanted to participate in both events, it would not be possible. You can't be at an event that ends on a certain day and then travel across the country and begin an event that starts that same day (I would consider practice at a new venue essential). Especially with the challenge of shipping so much gear. 

I'm not faulting anyone or any institution (thank you for all the work involved with hosting such an event), simply suggesting that, in the future, the organizers from both events communicate with each other ahead of time around dates so that folks who want to go to both can. 

FT Nationals for 2018 was announced at the dinner after 2017 Nationals. So claiming ignorance of the date in advance has no grounds here, This isn't the first time your club has scheduled it's large airgun events during FT Nationals.

To word this response more carefully, why wouldn't the National Benchrest group and the National Field Target group work out scheduling to not conflict with each other...............so the Airgun shooter won't miss out on two great events. 

Phoenix set the dates to fit with the extreme

The Quail Creek Air Gun Club has contacted the USARB, as a possible venue for future USARB National Competitions. We are the only users of our range. We have 20 shooting lanes.
