Interesting reading comments about how good women are behind a gun.
I took a riflery course in college back in the mid 70’s. At the time one of the top shooters on the shooting team was a woman. Our instructor would give us the schpeel every class as to why women tend to be better shooters and it was because they tend to relax and not muscle the gun like some men seem to do. From some comments here, sounds like there must be something to it.

My buddy's anti-violence, anti-gun liberal med-school summa cum laude daughter had never shot a gun before she decided to try his MRod in his backyard at 25 yards. Her first 5-shot group was one close clover-leafed ragged hole. We were blown away. We'd been shooting it for two days and had not shot a group as small. She was hooked. Now she wants a federal firearm license to sell guns. The good doctor is going to have a gun shop. Her boyfriend is some kind of serious as poop special forces, can't talk about it kind of thing. After having dealt with her anti gun stance for a long while...he thinks we are miracle workers!

Being a range master for several years. I was aske to teach several young women to shoot. The advantage they have is "they listen to the lesson" then do just that. End up beating the old man. "ME" LOL just love it when that happens.

Yes, I have taught a couple of young girls how to shoot. It's a fact, they listen and do what you tell them.

Little known secret: women are much better shots than men. The reason you don't see a lot of women shooting is because they find it boring (because they are naturally good at it). Same reason I gave up golf, because I am so naturally good at it, it was boring hitting the ball all the time.

When going to the gun range with a woman, always carry a magnet in your pocket. If she out-shoots you, pretend to pull the magnet from the back of HER target after you walk down the range to inspect. Let them know you put the magnet behind her target to "attract the metal in the pellet". This way it will explain away her amazing shots which outperformed yours. Most non-technical people don't realize that not ALL metal is attracted to a magnet, and simply assume the magnet did the trick. This way, you can explain away their good fortune. Also, twist the knobs on their scope before they shoot again. Then you say "this is how you really shoot when there is no magnet on your target".
