That brand new Impact leaks. Little help from guys who have had one apart please

"Txboy"When you send it in if it arrives on a Tuesday they will not work on it till the next Monday or Tuesday. They only work on Impacts on those days at least that's what one of the guys at AOA told me. If it goes in for a leak then they keep it in leak check for an extra three days after it is fixed before sending it out snail mail. Every time mine was in there it was minimum 3 weeks. Not bashing AOA just preparing you for what to expect. Hope I'm wrong and you get it back sooner. I always sent mine back usps priority mail so it would be there quickly for the cheapest.
Hope it does not take three weeks but I am working pretty much every day right now so don't have time to shoot it much. Hope they get it fixed first time if it shows back up and still leaks I am not going to be happy.

do you know what size the reg orings are. Would be nice to nice to have a list of all the orings needed so we can buy them and have them on hand.
2X1mm
4X1.5mm
7.66X1.78mm
9X1.5
Ernest thanks. will those cover the regulator too?
that's only for the regulator the rest are on the video

sniperlabyoI have seen mine and 2 friends impact dump the reg chamber when bottle is removed, and read some guys reg chamber didn't dump. I haven't removed my reg yet, working to good to remove.

Remove trigger assembly----only 1 pin holding it in-place --->with no pressure remove reg adjustment screw, then use a hex Allen to unscrew the whole brass body-from there you can see the orings!

Thanks.

It's not leaking any air as the bottle pressure remains unchanged overnight. I was advised to wait half hour or so for bottle to cool down after full fill and then mark it. It does drop about 10bar (250bar to 240bar) during first 1hr cool down, then holds it.

Full service kit is on the way now. So at least when things go wrong there will be replacement parts.

Main concern still is the valve pin/stem o-ring. One of the forum members has replaced that with a bigger O-ring and your video also shows stock ring to be smaller than it should be. However the service kit doesn't list the O-rings individually (hence no size info in the pdf spec sheet) but a complete valvepin assembly. Can you please confirm the size of the new valve pin O-ring?

Also, as many have bought the Impact now, would you be looking to create a full o-ring set that can be purchased? It would be nice to have a high quality set of O-rings that are tried and tested, as FX seems to have some QC issues with these.

Just nibbling around the edges of the air gun world at present and don't even own one yet. But I very much most likely will as I'm about to order one tomorrow. The Impact pushed me over the edge. Read and watched everything out there, and here, on the things. Consequently will be ordering a Wildcat. FX has created a world beater for sure with the Impact but managed to put their tata in the wringer with its release. If I was them ( but who the frick am I ) I'd get it sorted and put a three year warrantee on it. AOA would probably have to hire several new mechs and create significant more space to handle the rebuilds however. Which is probably not doable.

Maybe the thing is just too 'techy' to survive. The barrel swapping alone could turn into a nightmare. Folks with more money than sense may not even lube the O rings when changing them out. Anyway .... can't wait to get a Wildcat in laminate stock with an Atlas bipod.

"FXSHOOTER"AOA being the Exclusive importer should be putting pressure on FX to Prevent any Leaks and AOA should be testing them all themselves before shipping out aND cbarging FX for preforming THEIR QC here in the states.. No reason a $2k PCP should be leaking or having the other QC issues you are hearing about. You loose your customer base that way.
I would guess AOA is doing exactly that. In spades.

Well AOA received my Impact last Monday it has been over a week today. Sent them a email said they had got it and would let me know when it was fixed tested and ready the ship. Also said I would need to send a email to repair department for info on status of Impact. Have sent email there two times with no answer. Have no idea how busy they are or what is going on with the Impact. Hope to have it back soon.
