Texan auto safety removed

Aloha to All,

I’m new to forums and can’t find my way around. Is there any videos or explanation on how to remove to auto safety on an Airforce Texan? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just learned yesterday that the auto safety has something to do with decocking the gun to make it safe probably when you miss that shot opportunity while there's a round in the chamber. I would reconsider what you're thinking.

Just got through removing the auto safety. So a big Mahalo nui loa Doug for walking me through it. Doug made very easy for me and was very patient with me( I missed the airguns for dummies book

And you are still able to decocking the gun with not problem, the safety is just manual now.

I remove the auto safety on all my AF guns. You still have a safety just not on by default like all the rest the guns.

I can't speak for the Texan but on my TalonSS with the auto safety feature removed you can decock the gun.

The safety push is just to be able to pull the trigger and thus decock the rifle.

Safety has nothing directly to do with decocking the rifle.
