Testing Slugs with FX Impact - PELLET & SLUG different liners and Barrels

Actually if you check my last test post, success with 22.5gn VK and Slow! and Pellet liner! 1:19 will see I have to test more, but if is consistent is great due 3 reasons

1- is a pellet liner, so no need to buy slug liner

2- Speed is normal, no need to power up (840fps any stock impact can reach that)

3- Slug will be devastating on game, and of course the BC

But further test needed to be done! today I will try 75 and 100 meters, but I have like 20 slugs left only, and more in the way

I need to get a 1:16 liner, and polishing the 1:18 liner, fire lapping compounds in the way

This is an upside down world

Last 10 24gn, 1 to test speed 850fps, 1 to aim, and 8 went like this in 44yds with the pellet liner

Crank the reg to 140, last 10 22.5 gn in 84 yards now, no fine tune, pellet liner, 950 fps and

Worst moment ever to went out of stock!

To be continued...

Which .22 hollowpoint slug do you recommend for my pellet liner? Where do you buy them?

Sadly this weekend I did not have much time to test

I crank the reg at 155, put a JSB monster to check speed, shoot it a couple of times and (600mm barrel)

So It can easy go over 1000fps with the new ValveTube and a 700mm barrel

Anyway, shoot a couple of rounds before the light went out @50m 55y from 22.5 gr to 30gn and it looks pretty good, on 24gn there are 2 groups, no need to measure, each hole measure 0.22 ;)

Getting better, but yesterday I came early to start testing more, needed to fill my tanks so I prepare my YH compressor, and it fail on me! damn! first time in more than a year...probably is an o'ring or something like that, the air was coming out from the exhaust oil knob. I prepare my X to shoots a few Slugs round and after tinkering a bit, one o'ring fail on me (on the reg since I crank it up to 165) so f....k back to my cave to fix it, is done (left overnight to see if there any extra leak, and is all good) but I could not test...BAD DAY yesterday! jajaja (is part of the game, but I had fun anyway, love to have problems that I can fix)
