Tequila PCP Airgun

Today I fill the air deposit of the gun, I found a leak. The leak is a badly milled screw, so I need do it again. Also I have some issues with the hammer

. I hope to fixed them this week. Meanwhile I take some random pictures to the gun. I added a extra picatinny rail to attach anything.

Your getting there! It is becoming more of a bullpup rifle than an pistol... There's probably a bigger market for a good match grade pistol; there's already hundreds of air rifles to choose to buy from, and not many good pistols.

I want to provide products with the best quality and fair prices. Because the pistols are very expensive. Also I am developing the compact version of Tequila Gun, it will named Tequila shot. And the length and weight are 12 inches and < 1 kg.

I suspect you mean a folding-stock carbine, rigtht? As the action sits above the trigger/grip, not wayyyyyy behind, I'm fairly certain this is by no means a bullpup.

Xolotl- your efforts are quite amazing. If it shoots even half as good as it looks it's going to be incredibly accurate :)

You just got my full undivided attention.

I’m with you Vetmx, the shorter more compact pistol is the best looking pistol I’ve seen yet.

Xoloti,

if you can give us some volumes , we would be able to predict shot counts for pistols in different calibers. Also I’m not sure if you know about the benefits of a ballanced valve but it sure would make a great way to have this in a double action.

According with my calculations the following table shows the specifications for Tequila Shot.

All the calculations were using the following formulas

Boyd law: P1 V1 = P2 V2

Muzzle velocity: √2((PA)/m)d

Kinetic energy: KE = 0.5 x mv2

and the final efficiency at 56%

Those look like some very realistic numbers. With efficiency right around 1.5 FPE/ci using 24 FPE at the muzzle and 20 shots. Is this pistol something you plan on producing and selling to the public or are you planing on selling the plans?

I am planning produce and sell, but to get cheap prices I need a minimum order of 50 pieces.

This is the final appearance of the gun.

What's the intended price should you get enough people showing interest?

With the looks and basic specs alone, I think you'll have no problem at all finding 50 buyers.
