Interesting video and shows the power of a great reviewer, what I mean is (like above) I want one now lol.
The gun has it's fair share of negative threads going, but I'm always pretty open minded with these complex beasts.
But, amidst the barrel securing knob defects, the shrouds sliding off and the mag problems I'd never even known about all the adjustments on the gun!
I guess what I had previously read had made me not want to seek out further information.
I do like the fact you can adjust the regulator and it's got it's own gauge too!
I can see a lot of people wanting Ted's shroud though!!

A very intriguing air rifle. This fellow does excellent reviews. I've only been looking at reviews for about 45 days.
It is crazy I know but if snow doesn't keep the UPS truck at bay today I'm expecting my Daystate B Hi-Lite .25. However, I'm already thinking this FX Impact is in my future. I'm going to wait though to see how the gun settles out in terms of reported issues. I typically am not drawn to all metal firearms like this one. I like highly figured walnut (thus the Daystate and Air Arms I own).

Nice review. Interesting hear Ted mention getting that he was getting his enthusiasm back for airgunning due to the Impact. I go through these as well, haven't shot a target in 9 months. Guess everyone goes through it from time to time.

Stumbled into this review earlier today. Nicely done Ted. There's been afew long awaited Q's you've helped answer for me. Some great features as Standard, which in the past Would of been Aftermarket upgrades. Versatile and engaging

Really pleased that the Bottle is a detachable self sealing , like a Rapid 7

FX has already fixed the rail issue. It's now mil-spec standard."ITF"Stumbled into this review earlier today. Nicely done Ted. There's been afew long awaited Q's you've helped answer for me. Some great features as Standard, which in the past Would of been Aftermarket upgrades.

Do you think he has the scope mounted so high above the barrel for shooting longer ranges, just to line up with his eye when shouldered or some other reason?
I always thought the closer to the bore line the better.

Yep, I'd use shorter mounts, Ted's probably just like the rest of us, use what you got laying around until you bite the bullet and pay to order yet another $50 worth of airgun accessories. Tell the kids those new shoes can wait!
