Target shooting pellets

Shoot what you like and what shoots best in your gun. Generally use flat heads for close and domed heads for far. Generally spring guns like lighter pellets and PCPs like heavier pellets. I shoot Premier heavies and lights for field target and rifle silhouette. Lots of people seem to like JSBs or Air Arms domed pellets for FT and rifle silhouette. I shoot Champions Choice or H&N flat head pellets for 10 meters. For pistol silhouette and for close practice I shoot whatever shoots okay, the cheaper the better including but not limited to Daisy flat heads, RWS basics and hobbies and whatever else I happen to have. In the basement I am more interested in working on form and technique than accuracy.

Ok My rifle is a Steyr LG 110 FT connect.177 cal
Scope; Nikko Stirling Diamond.
I have weighed my pellets and made good groups at 55 m .28"

I do have a crony, my rifle shoots 790 FPS, the maximum variation in speed is like 4FPS

My only worries are, do I wash my pellets and what kind of lubricant do I use, or do most guys just shoot out of the can.

Thanks for any help
