Target Retrieval System

A length (about a foot long) of PVC suspended on a 1/4 in cable as a runner would be a good start for your target holder. Unlike a pulley or wheel on the cable, the PVC would be cheap and provide a lot of surface area to attach a large clip or even clothes pins. I like the clothes pin idea. Easily replaced if you shoot it. The most expensive part would be the cable and the pullies at the end. Use a turn buckle on each end of the PVC to attach the cable to so you can adjust the tension and change out the PVC if needed. Small DC motor somewhere would be nice too. How about a solar light at the end to see a target at night ? ........or a small wooden box to allow you to shoot at to catch pellets and allow you to shoot in the rain ? A small wireless camera sheilded against being shot that you can see your groups and record your shooting on ?

Just a few ideas. I hope this helps out.

When we were kids we used to float our plastic model ships out into the pond and "sink" them with our bb guns. Then one of my buddies got a remote controlled boat for his birthday and we used it to tow the model ships. Moving target practice. We used to have contests to see who could tow a model the longest (evasive maneuvers) before it was sunk by the others. It was great fun. Just remembering it is giving my the urge to go out and buy a remote controlled boat and a couple cheap models now.
