I use 100lb card stock in Manila color. Very heavy weight like purchased targets and runs through my old canon printer just fine. 

I'm still experimenting. I haven't found one yet that will allow a cleanly punched hold like a commercial target.

Takes a special kind of paper to get that clean hole. Seems like it has a high "rag" content? I have repeatedly searched the web looking for paper that was specifically for printing targets and never have been able to find any or find out much about the paper which is used. Maybe someone will chime in here?

Inkjet photo paper will leave clean holes. 

have to try inkjet paper my target get all tore up
