What tape do you guys use for marking ranges on your turret? I tried duck brand painters tape and it came right off, masking tape came off, cant write clean enough on clear packaging tape.

I make a strip of paper to the circumference, write the numbers, and laminate with clear packing tape. I then glue the strip on with contact cement.

+1 for bandage tape. It's a little wide for most wheels, so trim it a bit. It takes ink really well but will get smudged after a while, so I usually put some regular Scotch tape over the markings after I'm happy with them (which is almost never). Paper strips also work well.

I use a program called ScopeKnob. It not only makes turret labels adjusted to the diameter and height of your particular turret, but can be used to make sidewheel tapes. Ive used it successfully on all my scopes for years.

I use label maker tape. It's about 8mm wide, sticks well and accepts super fine Sharpie ink well.

Thanks guys. I was able to mark what I needed marked with small pieces of medical tape. I dont have enough space on my turret to make a full tape for it, but that would be ideal. Next scope will have it! I just needed to mark my squirrel gun for 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 and I got the job done.
