I am just saying people, Here in Odessa Texas I can open carry a firearm, In the city of Odessa I can not have a air gun in my car past sun down, But I can have a 40 Cal glock strap to my side….  I can not discharge a air gun for any reason in the city limits,
    Just seems strange to me,
I conceal carry myself, never open carry,

“wyshadow”Most hunters who shot traditional fire arms have no clue on ballistics on their own fire arms. Mostly everyone one I talked to don’t know anything about fpe, fps, or their gun’s bullet drop and some have been hunting their hold lives. To them, hunters and the general public, they think air rifles are just toys. For politicians, I hope they still continue thinking this way

I get hit with belittling comments about how I’m just playing with “BB” guns all the time and quite frankly I approve of their ignorance and make no attempts to educate them.  If they knew better, it could be bad for us.  As it is I almost feel like I’m getting away with something.

I agree we are safe in the short run but when someone misbehaves with one of the more powerful air guns we will have some problems.
