Had a pretty successful day of shooting vermin! This .22 taipan veteran long is a keeper I must say.. it’s become my go to shooter. Pretty much all headshots 10-30 yards. Too easy for this BP.

Hi nice work I got a Taipan Veteran STD in .22
Can you please tell me your power setting and how many shots you get , just courious what the difference is with how many shots at identical power setting , Mine is set at 34fpe I did not touch reg just hammer spring .the std was a bit loud so I got a moderator on it , and its quiet as a mouse but heavy as a elephant LOL , set up as shown with bipod it comes in at 10lbs 14 ounces gun air , full clip ,DonnyFL Ronin , atlas and scope

I get it too about too easy lol I been picking up this gun more then most because of the trigger and accuracy , on my last squirrel hnt I was set up under a chestnut tree to make it harder i got 70 yards away and it was still to easy doing head shots too same thing lol . i seem to have said this with this gun

My veteran long came shooting 986 FPS with 18 gr pellets.. I kinda loose track of how many rounds I put down range. I want to say 60-70 useable shots no POI difference at 50 yards. I ordered a Donny ldc adapter for mine, so it’ll be dead quiet.

I got the emperor because I’m crazy, and wanted dead silence.. which it pretty much is now. I thought the weapon was broken after I fired it lol
