Taipan Veteran Long .22 shot string

Well I did this the other day but have been very busy with things. So I wanted to do a full shot string as I have seen absolutely none anywhere. However I've had it before during shot strings where my Chrono app will just give out during the middle of the string. It hadn't done it in a while so I thought maybe I'll luck out. Well 4 shots after it fell off the reg it shut off on me. I was able to get a screenshot before it went away and restarted the app. Tuned at 940fps with the 16gr AA pellets, I got 85 shots ON the regulator with only 11fps ES. Shot 85-104 went from 944-953-936. Meaning I had 104 shots from 250-100bar within 20fps. Basically all day pesting with plenty of power.

Accuracy is outstanding! 1/2" or better at 50yds with AA 16gr at 940fps JSB 18gr from 900-950fps and JSB Redesigned monsters 25.39gr at 800-950fps. Those are the only speeds I tested those pellets yet and loves them! All tested at 50yds.

Way cool.

I've got a .22 Vet Standard on my short-list, but now I'm thinking for the same money, the Long would be even more awesome.

Thanks

Oh yeah my bad on that Terry. I have a .25 Standard and the .22 Long. The .22 have there regulators set at 120bar and the .25s at 150bar. I swapped the airtube as I was curious just how much power one could get from the higher reg setting. Also learned that the .22 has a slightly softer hammer spring than the .25 so I put the .25 spring in it to get the most power out of it. It was just for an experiment and put everything back to stock right after and now tuned for the 940fps with 16gr and 900fps with 18gr. Which both by the way have nearly identical POIs from 20-50yds when sighted in at 50yds. I've had a shorty, standard and long in .22 and prefer the long but that's just me. I like compact guns but too compact is a negative for me.
