@papy_yosh I actually used red Carbon fiber vinyl on it. Doesn’t show well on the pictures. 

Here’s a couple up-close pics. Still not very telling, but you can kinda see it. 

Still working on this gun. Just uploaded a couple mor pics to the OP. 
Also removed the shroud and installed Carbon Fiber shroud and a DonnyFL Tanto. Will upload those pics when able. 

So, in case you were wondering.... unlike the Kalibrgun, the Taipan will accept a 1/2x20 UNF threaded moderator. No need for an adapter. I was able to install the Tanto straight up. Works pretty good too! May try the Koi and see though.

The threads on the Kalibrgun barrels are M14 x 1.25 which is the same as the Vulcan/Uragan shroud threads. You don’t actually need an adaptor if you take the shroud off of the Kalibrgun’s. Complication is, there is not much room between the barrel and shroud for clearance. You can, however, use a Koi or Tanto as they do clear.

Interesting. I'm pretty sure I tried to install a Koi directly to the Kalibrgun Mini and it I think it didn't accept it. I bought the adapter that @centercut (Mike) told me about and worked just fine. Matter of fact, it was him I learned it from. Will have to give it a second look and will let you know. 

The Koi, Tanto, and the Weihrauch LDCs work for this application, with the latter having ever so slightly more clearance than the DonnyFLs. 

OK, here’s the deal. It’s not really the thread and if it will accept the LDC’s 1/2x20 or not, it’s that it’s setback. So, the adapter is needed anyway. 

1/2 - 20 want thread to a Kalibrgun barrel without the adaptor, however, M14 X 1.25 will.
