Taipan veteran .22 came in today WOW -- worth the wait

I stripped down gun cleaned and lubed it and locked adjustment screws after adjusting the machine work ,the design and finish exceeds the $2k pice pcp I know I either had or own them , this is best trigger I ever felt on a PCP ,It is close to a tactical trigger with 5 adjustments wow a dream to adjust for us fine tuners ,I cleaned gun had tons of machining grease in it , I mounted a 34mm 1.5x 8 ffp optic I zeroed gun at 50 yards , it was basically going threw same holes I had to shoot only 5 shots to zero I was amazed how well straight everything is , and to be honest , I checked the rail it is exactly 20 MOA ., another great feature , plus the single shot tray included and the mags omg they fit all ammo I make even my 44 grain slugs wow going to have to set it up for them soon , ok well after zeroing I took it on deck and put out a 1 mil target (3.6 in ) at 135m or 147 yads and I dialed to hit center it was exactly 4.6 mils and half a mil hold for wind , I was shooting a -8 degree slope and my scope was dialed to 4.6 mils , ( I have to test BC of gun w ammo) . I hat 97 out orf 100 shots this is super accurate ammo was sorted and wind was very low , I was shooting at 4x ,

this gun has serious potential

just for curiosity only drawback was stock moderator is very loud is their a kit

or possibly was mine assembled wrong lol ,

does anyone have a diagram on how the moderator parts go ?

I am sure it is correct but just would like it quieter so I dont have exra weight and I am only shooting 894 fps or 32fpe so it isnt going too fast to make the crack it makes

mean donny fl moderator it but , I am wondering

i got std one , I went back and forth I didnt count but it is about 60 if u want I can do a string tomarrrow I just got it today it is dark I only refilled 1 time to shoot 100 pellets , lol this inst an accurate answer but my guess is about 60

Well Eddy I have shot the bantam , I feel they both completely different guns , the Taipan is a bull pup the Sniper is more like a crown style or more a rifle , I think If you going to get 22 caliber , Taipan all the way ,

Eddie I can adjust my hammer spring to get from 500 fps , to 1000 fps and I didnt even max reg yet till I test heavy slugs , No other airgun on market has mags this deep either I would rather have this one ..

Eddie I dont think you can compare the 2 I believe the taipain is a better build quality , better barrels in 22 , a 20moa rail , easy to disassemble , and everything is adjustable , also the finished parts in this Taipan are as if they were all polished and every part had 0 tolerance but felt smooth I mean everything even , bores and pistons , hammers and housings , the finish work is superb on this gun as if it was a custom blueprinted gun

In a Tactical gun this would be called the gun has been Blueprinted

Eddie will you hunt or bench rest shoot , and what ranges will you shoot ?

Calbrry this is how mine is in 22 it needs moderation I was hoping the moderator was put together wrong , I think this is only improvement this gun needs , cal have u tried slugs yet I cant wait to

Your baffle system looks normal. No, I have not shot slugs. You don't need the big Ronin, the smaller Sumo will quiet it down a lot. I have a Sumo on my Mutant standard and you can barely hear it.
