Hey Gents. It was day 3 for me and the Taipan .25 shorty. Just a phenomenal gun... seriously. Raining, cold, dismal day. Indoor tuning day. Earlier I had gone out to check the feeder, and these bruisers of squirrels had quite literally torn my feeder apart... put it back together, filled up with peanuts, and went about the day. Just before dusk I took and gander and see 4 furry tails darting about. Game ON.
I had to make a choice then: which rifle to grab?? Mr. R5M sporting 39 FPE, or Mr. Taipan sporting 40 FPE? (Mr. .30 Uragan was indisposed)... Well it was time to use Mr. Shorty, who was at the ready with the ATN, and 3 mags of 33gr VK .25 HP-FB slugs. (running em at 770 fps).
