Taipan - original, made in Oz. The most deadly. But not a bullpup ...topical.

Last time I seen something like that was 49 yrs ago in Viet Nam - vipers - if I remember right the bellies were yellow but this old mind doesn't remember much after 30 seconds nowadays lol . Now your going to get me rummaging thru those old photos because I know I have a picture of one of those . As a side note I'm colored blind so take it for what its worth the belly could have been a off green for that matter . Darell

 So many of the animals in general of OZ, be them Mammal, Reptile, Insect etc etc are capable to maim or kill you !!

So what is your tally of them?

I do not like them, they would be on my shot list no matter what. I don't know why they are making my skin crawl just looking at them.

I am glad they are in your neck of the woods and not in my area.

Admission is guilt. Strangely it is illegal to dispatch snakes even around the farm and house so might leave the numbers. Here's a close relative that lost its way. #2 on the deadly list . Somewhat AG related

I don't do snakes, fortunately, where I live there are no protected species so it's game on.

I like snakes;,lately the only ones I see are in the talons of Red Tail Hawks.
