Taipan Mutant .25????

I love my BSA R10. Nicest feeling air rifle I've had in rifle/carbine form just fits me so well and is nicely balanced. Very accurate even at 990fps with 8.4gr JSBs. If I wanted another rifle I would get another one of these.

The Mutant is also very accurate and extremely comfortable to shoot whether that be offhand, leaning on something, off bipod, or prone just very comfortable and very well balanced. Would I like it in carbine form? Possibly but honestly how it is I wouldn't change it at all.

If I had to choose between the 2 I couldn't. That's why I got the BSA in .177 cause the Mutant doesn't come in that so I could have both. These are 2 guns I won't sell. That's why I want to add a .25 Mutant though so I can get rid of my .25 Mrod.

"tsakula"LW will never be as good as CZ but it is still great. cricket 25 has LW barrels but everyone knows how great shooter it is.

I'm not sure that's right. I have found them to be about the same when on similarly well made guns.

There re are some cheaper no frills air guns with LW barrels that don't shoot as well as Edguns, Crickets and Daystates but the LW barrels at that level dominate.
