Tactacam first outing

The illumination control is a concern of mine also, Vortex PST. Do they have a work around to mount the scope with those large illumination controls on the eyepiece diameter?

If the illumination control is mounted on the eye bell, then it won't work. For example:

All of the videos using the Tactacam on youtube, I have viewed are in good light. How well does it do in thick woods where light is sometimes low to very low? Even during midday, a full foilage forest can have low light. I know that large objective lens on rifle scopes make images seem brighter in those conditions, but will the Tactacam benefit from that? I would really like to see some footage taking some tree squirrels in the forest with the Tactacam. Hope someone on here soon post some. When season comes in of course. Definitely a nice setup.

I don't have any low light woods footage as I am in the desert. But yes it will benefit from a larger objective since they allow more light through. Tactacam software also gives you the option to increase or decrease exposure as needed.

Thanks & I have another question? As my eyes get worse, I need to back the focus ring on a scope eyepiece more & more to focus the scope to my eyes. Since the Tatacam or any scope mounted camera does not have diminishing eyesight, will this cause video to be out of focus? Thanks
