Hi Joe,

Does head placement need to move forward and backwack at different magnifications? I had a UTG bugbuster 3-12 that I had to sell because whenever the magnification was changed I had to move my head an inch forward or back to get a good sight picture.

I like it better than the similar Discovery... but it's not exclusive to one importer. airgunopticsplus in North Carolina sells it for $170 shipped.

The one he sells is a second focal plane.

I have the Discovery equivalent (VT3 3-12x44FFP compact) of this one. It has the exact same specs so I am curious to the Brian design statement. (did he do the Discovery too or?)

I like the reticle of the Disco much better but it seems to be a near copy of an SWFA reticle (and thus of American origin), so it is being banned or so according to another thread here on the AGN. (not quite sure as the people involved do not open up all the info in the thread)

About the scope (again both the Tac and the Disco have exactly the same specs, and apart from the knobs they look the same too): it's great but the one big drawback (and not spoken of in the review) is the very small field of view, even at the smallest 3x magnification. Not a dealbreaker, as you get used to it quickly enough, but it is surely something that is very noticeable and something to consider if you want to use it in a scenario where you want or are in need of a broad FOV instead of a keyhole peep...

Image quality of this seems to be poor in the video. Gigantic chromatic abberation and blurry image.. I have seen in person Vector Optics Sagittarius 10-40x56 and it optically SUCKS, especially beyond 70 yards. Not many said about it in the review?

Just got mine yesterday. Fits my Veteran Compact well. I really, really like it. I'm no scope guru and this is my first ffp so take anything I say with a grain of salt. Mine is crystal clear out to 70 yds. (my limit in my yard). Crosshairs are great. I wasn't expecting to like the mounts, but I even like them.

The camera used and UTube makes it look bad, in reality the glass is very good.

Just got mine, thank you Brian for the insanely fast shipping... So far looks good, at least first impressions, turrets are positive click, zoom is a lil stiff ( I expect that straight from the box)… Nice size for my Leshiy… I'll post a few photos after I get it mounted...

Big problems, the provided rings won't clear the Leshiys shroud and even using my tall Warne rings I cannot get the flip on lens cover on between objective and the Leshiy Shroud...
