T05 trigger adjustment

I found this on Pyramyd Air website underAirgun Academy , BB Pelletier. I have a RWS 54 with a T06 trigger and got me thinking about my gun but trigger was fantastic out of the box

There’s only one adjustment on the T05 trigger, and aside from the plastic trigger blade, it’s the focus of most of the criticism. The screw in front of the trigger blade controls how long the first stage is, and that’s all you can adjust. Fortunately, the pull weight and let-off are very nice as they come, but there’s no easy way to adjust them. When people feel they have no choices, they don’t like it.

Funny that You've brought this up. This is what I'm in the midst of as we speak. These are the components of a T05 trigger from my Diana 350 mag. Just doing some cleaning/polishing to get a little better feel.

As You know, the screw in the trigger blade adjusts the length of the first stage. The smallest spring on the top right dictates the actual pull weight. I plan to replace that spring with an incrementally lighter one to slightly decrease the pull weight.

I'll let You know my results/findings,ect.

Mike.

Here is the spring I'm referring to. (Top right.)

I did later determine the T05 trigger blade in my older D34 was in fact plastic. The trigger assembly in the above photo with metal trigger is a Chinese made copy with a few differences. It came from a Ruger AirHawk .177 , Umerex product made in China. My neighbor ruined his rifle and just gave it to me. I was able to salvage a few common parts I might have future need for.
