SWFA Tax Day Sale

"JoeWayneRhea"Techno you gonna poop when you look thru it the first time !!!
After waiting for this sale for 2 months I actually wet my pants when I got the e-mail. So I will pick up some adult underwear before it gets here. The deal is I'll be hopefully needing 2 scopes before long for a AAA Evol .30 and a Daystate Wolverine "R" .25. I thought maybe I would try a scope with some HD glass for one of them and I just can't find a scope to pull the trigger on that has all the airgun features I want. Gotta have FFP, side focus down to 10 yds, 15-20 power max, maybe 50mm, and not a heavy pig. I want a reticle that is friendly for holdover and I don't care about illumination. These are field guns for varmints.
I swear I might just go ahead and order a 2nd SWFA 3-15 before the sale is over. Whataya think Joe ?
Cheers,Scott

"JoeWayneRhea"Scott , I PROMISE you won't be sorry !!! The only scope I've bought in last year's for under 1000$ that can compare is my Weaver FFP Tactical..900$ .
It is an amazing scope. They are neck and neck in optical and performance quality ...No surprise since they come from sae factory
Thanks buddy, like to buy you a beer one day.......gonna crack a cold one and go order another 3-15.....Now if the rifle people can come through I'll really be in poop...
Cheers

Get yourself a box of Depends and a case of Tucks... the scope is that nice!

"JoeWayneRhea"Trust someone who has owned like a dozen swfa scopes . The 3-15 I brighter and sharper
Joe you got me so confused so I went and bought the 3-15 also, my 16x42 shipped today and the 3-15 will probably go tomorrow hopefully I’ll have them by the weekend. I still haven’t decided on what Rifles I want to put them but that’s a nice problem to have. I would have also ordered a HD model but unfortunately I have to cut a check to the IRS .

FFP is more for the hunter. On ffp scopes, the reticle changes thickness so, it is not always optimal for target shooting. High magnification it can be too thick. Also, target shooters almost always dial turrets (no hold over & estimating wind and elevation in blank no-man's land) therefore, ffp does not matter. That's what I was told. Make sense?

It’s Here....

I’m just getting to know it now. It’s very sharp, but I think my eye (right) is giving me problems. I looked through it lefty and was super sharp, then I took a shot and was spot on! As for one vs the other, I don’t know as I don’t have the 10x. I also have a Sightron that is very sharp as well. I think I’m liking this one the more I use it.
