I just recently purchased an impact mk2 and I am trying to figure out if my gun has the superior liner or STX liner. I was told it had the superior but I can’t seem to group with my hybrid slugs. Shooting at 955fps. Have no problem grouping with my dreamline at that speed with the superior STX liner.

when I take the liner out, there is no sticker that says superior STX liner like my other one had.

    cheers

You could check the twist or I noticed the SUP liner has heavily pressed rifling all the way back to the breach end, all my other liners feather in lightly an inch or so? Just a thought, but if you check the twist, 1 in 22-24 seems to be about right, also, I’m assuming your talking 25 cal?

The switch to Superior liners have not taken place in all the guns yet, so your Impact MK II will have the STX Liner unless your dealer switched out the Superior prior to purchase.

is  the 35/357/9 mm  going to have a superior liner or did the superior liner develop after the 35 had left the factory?
