Super slow leak detection?

Happy New Year fellow air gunners.
I have a really slow leak it take 10-14 days to leak down from 3000 psi.to 1500 psi. There is no regulator or any thing to leak down. So I figure it is an o-ring or maybe the valve, it was just recently tuned by Troy. But I can't seem to find it, and I hate to send it back across country a gain. I was thinking about putting some of that UV leak detector in the fill line and use a UV light to see where it is leaking. Any push back on doing that? It could be cleaned out of the tube when the leak is fixed.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

Put a ballon around the end of the barrel and tape it to make it sealed. If it inflates (may take hours in case of low leak). -> your valve is responsible for that.
A tip -> To help detection take pictures to compare ballon status.

For all other potential sources of leakage I use water + soap and bubbles will appear even if it is a very slow leak.

Good luck

edit : thoroughly dry and use oil after contact with water to avoid rusting. It seems obvious but....

What model gun?

This what I used, doesn’t run down like water. I can leak test multiple AG and not worrying about bubbles bursting.

nonhazardous and nontoxic detector does not contain ethylene glycol. The nonfreezing, viscous, fluorescent, bubble-type gas-leak detector makes leaks appear as large, strong bubbles that cling to the surface and are fluorescent under black light.

This is what I use. Once had a leak on QB that was beyond tiny. Wound up removing the barrel and putting the leak detector in the transfer port. Could not see anything with naked eye but with a 10x loupe I could see little teeny tiny bubbles coming from the valve indicating the poppet not sealing. Disassembled and used some mothers polishing compound between the delrin poppet and valve seat and no more leak.

Yea! I think I got the leak fixed. I ordered some orings for gage 15x2 from 123 Bearing. They will let you order less than a 1000. So they got my business. I found the by mixing water and Dawn dish soap 50/50 so it would stick to the surface and bubbles would form. Used a 7/8” 6sided socket to remove the gage cleaned everything with alcohol and lubed the oring with silicone grease. Looks like it is holding air now for the last 3 days.
Thanks for the help.
