Super accurate pistol! HW44

I had a chance to shoot at my 60 yard target yesterday with no wind, using the HW44. It has a 3 to 12 power bug buster on it and I used the 10.34 grain .177 pellets. Shooting off of two bags and a solid bench I was able to get this group on a gopher target. I am totally amazed at this pistol. And I had a friend who has never shot a pistol of any kind shoot at 20 yards. She was putting almost every shot inside of a dime sized circle. I just can’t say enough about how awesome these pistols are. I give it a 10 out

of 10, if you buy this pistol you are definitely going to be happy. Someday I’ll be getting the .22 just because they are so awesome. The middle picture shows where I shoot from, the little covered deck on the trailer. Oops, I use the wrong picture from target to deck, this one is from the 100 yard target...it ain’t that good ha ha. Sorry for being a dang liar!!

Every thread I read about the HW44 makes me smile because I know how accurate and silent these pistols are. I generally shoot the 8.44 for flatter trajectory and I am always amazed. Was shooting outside at a friends backyard in the 30-35 yard range and with the Leupold 4x Pistol scope you just can't miss.

I was messing around with the NSA .177 15.5 grain slugs. I didn't test fps but I could see at 15 yards they were grouping quite nicely. I'll be testing these out a bit more.

I only fill to 190 bar then shoot one mag (10 shots) then refill. I hand pump and that's 20 strokes - easy to keep track of. I believe it's not regulated so that would keep the shots at the plateau. I can get maybe 2 or 3 mags if I fill to 200 bar then shoot down to the red zone.

If you are after shot count, then the 177 filled to right at 200 bar and shot down to the red zone will get you at least 20 shots. For best consistency, fill to 190 and just shoot one mag (10 shots) then refill. It will stay incredibly consistent then.
