Suggestions for a 2nd PCP rifle, for lower power and quieter than my .25

If you are building a collection of PCPs DON'T shoot a RedWolf. Don't do it, you will regret it. My bar has now been raised for my next PCP so high nothing currently meets it. But I'm a pick it up and shoot stuff guy not a tinker with it. I have the .22HP version.

Well... after all my exploration and consideration... I decided to trade my Brocock Bantam .25 in on a Red Wolf .22. Rather than have two lesser priced guns, I decided to just go for one exceptional rifle. (I'm likely to add a Wildcat MkII in .25 caliber down the road, at some time.) What persuaded me with the Red Wolf:

-AoA is local to me and they do factory warranty work

-5 year transferrable warranty

-Low power setting for quiet back yard plinking

-Did I mention quiet? This gun is VERY quiet with the Hugget LDC that came on it and quiet was one of the most important qualities that I wanted.

-Daystate's reputation for trouble free guns (not a guarantee, but encouraging)

-The trigger is amazing

It's one of the best airgun that ever made. No one can not say that won't love this gun. You love and hate use it at the same time, love it because of it's fantastic, hate to put a mark or dens on such a lovely thing.

I hope you will enjoy it. One best is better than several middle.

Thanks, Arash. I agree.. better to have one exceptional rifle than two middle of the roaders.

I will say that I really did enjoy the Brocock Bantam .25 and I'm sure I would have enjoyed a Streamline, as well. They're all good rifles!

What will be interesting is what my next PCP might be? I still think I would enjoy having a Wildcat II in .25 or perhaps .30? - totally different kind of rifle than the RW.
