Successful delivery methods?

What do you find is the successful receipt for receiving pellets undamaged?

I think a key is not to order too many at a time. My latest order was 10 34gr FX tins. shipping weight was over 16lbs.

The 4 tins of JSB King Heavy (photo below) came in a small cardboard box with tightly packed paper around them. All the way from Germany with no damage.

I've ordered a lot of pellets. It seems everything I get from Europe is packaged with paper and miraculously has no damage. One order the packaging was damaged and one whole tin was missing, but the remaining 3 tins were unharmed. All these arrive UPS.

I've ordered from every big name retailer in the USA, Utah Airguns is the only one that I received undamaged product from.

My latest order from Airgun Depot had 4/10 damaged tins. Luckily the big 34gr JSB 25's didn't sustain damage inside the tins, but I was worried.

I have to say Airgun Depot had plenty of foam to stop movement. This damage was 100% because of Fedex rough handling.

If these were smaller pellets, there is no doubt in my mind there would have been 4 tins going back for a claim.

I ordered pellets from Airgun Depot a month or so ago. I watched the FedEx tracking take it all over the place in a big circle of states around the one I live in. It was actually in my state an hour away before finding itself in the next state 24 hours later. Delivery date changed every day for four days. When they got here they were packed in foam in a box but the box was beat up pretty bad. Pellets were ok.

Most all my pellet orders are from Pyramyd Air and so far they have done a great job of packing and shipping for me. In fact I don’t remember ever having to make any damage claims with them.

I ordered pellets from PA Friday and got them today USPS and in perfect condition. Last week and the week before I got pellets from AoA shipped USPS that arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It seems that USPS has fixed the problems they had

What caliber and quantity are you usually ordering? I'm trying to determine if it is a factor for damage.
