Sub 10 ft/lbs 8.44g Finds The "Off Switch"

.177 FX Crown MK2 w/500mm in (partial) Saber Tactical chassis with 170cc tube shooting JSB 8.44g @ 719fps.

It's been a lean year so far pesting on the nursery. I am kinda a victim of my own pesting success over the last couple years, but owners are happy because squirrel damage costs are way down. Took the new Crown Tact Compact-ish rig(in .177 form) out pesting. This squirrel ranged right at 30 yards. He was sittin' back on a limb, left-eyeballin' me and I think I heard him say something bad bout my momma, so I let him have it. Entered below/behind left ear:

Exited under right ear. Fell DRT. No flopping at all. Peaceful exodus:

Strelock Pro says at 30 yards, that 8.44g pellet has about 7.2 ft/lbs. Enough to do the job, I guess?

LMAO! That tree nutter totally crossed the line!

great shot! I found 7 FPE at impact is more than plenty and even has more than 50% chance of full pass through even with vital shots. Guaranteed full pass through with headshots with 7 FPE on impact.

I never actually hear what the tree rats say (tinnitus), but I read their lips... LOL!
