Styer LP10

I have a Styer LP10 and love it, shoots amazing and used it in a few 10m competitions, anyone else shoot one?

For a while I had an LP-1 that was the predecessor of the LP-10. Not interested in ten-meter competition but very interested in ten-meter pistols, I had Allen Zasadny shorten and machine a Daystate rifle barrel for it, soup-up the power, and make a scope mount for use in pistol field target competition.

On two different bench-rest accuracy testing sessions the AZ LP-1 averaged .56" center-to-center five-shot groups at 50 yards with 8.4 grain JSBs at 760 FPS and 10.8 foot-pounds. This .34" five-shot group is the best air pistol group I've ever achieved at 50 yards.

John,

I've had this a few years, I wouldn't use it for FT competition at all. It's my winter 10 meter gun only. I feel that the velocity is not up to FT comp. I'll use my 1720T for Field Target, I do have to make a set of grips for it.

Good shooting with you today, I'll be at Falls next week weather permitting.
