Stubble Pull

No issue with the wood but sometimes metal parts can get rude with beard or mustache hairs.
Sounds like some additional stock finishing is in order in your case.

Must be something with the AirArms stocks. It happens to me when I shoot my TX200. I got all geared up to refinish mine but then lost confidence and don’t want to chance ruining my beautiful walnut stock! I got a little teary eyed the other day when my EdGun grabbed hold of my mustache hairs. My wife likes that the guns keep me cleaned up and presentable, otherwise I would not shave at all. Come to think about it, that is the only thing she likes about my “toys.”

I had a walnut stock that did that. I put a coat of Renaissance wax on it and the problem disappeared. It was an easy change as the finish of the rifle looked the same.

I also had the same issue with my walnut Pro Sport. Refinished it with Minwax Antique Oil. Gave it a beautiful glow (Not overly glossy) and Really made the walnut pop. Super easy and forgiving to work with,as well...and no more shaving 2x a day!
