Stretched out the legs of the WC today

Very nice set-up. It does appear your target stand is getting in the way of a few strays.

Ha, ha! Those were just recent, when I foolishly tried something new and got my scope turrets out of whack, dialing. My mistake was I didn’t keep track of where it was set at zero. I follow the one shot zero procedure, so you can tell by those hammered legs on the stand I struggled a bit to get on paper, lol. You definately can respect the power of the 30 caliber, if you zoom in and see the indentations that caliber can make on steel tubing

No way am I getting into weighing and sorting! I already do enough of that OCD stuff when I reload for my centerfire rifles. Concentricity, run out, head space....the madness doesn’t stop!!

lol, That reminds me of those days long ago when I reloaded. Boy,that is a nice rifle rest.Call that the Bently.Nice shootin

Thanks, HeyU. I really hate shooting off of sandbags at the local range, and I used to haul this rifle rest with me to the range along with rifle, range box, ammo, spotting scope, etc. became a big chore just to get there and get set up. I think one day when the centerfire bug bites me again, and I start heading to the range to do some load tests, I’ll invest for sure in that Caldwell rest I posted up. Much lighter than my cast iron rest.

On a great note, I got my 19 year old nephew in the trade, he starts next Tuesday. Today I surprised him with $100 in brand new tools and a few hand me downs. Take that back- a lot of hand me downs. A whole tool bag of tools that I had spares of, lol. He’s gonna be stylin’ Come Tuesday!
