When entering information in regards to scope height is there any issue with using a 20 MOA Inclined mount? Compared to a scope that’s mounted parallel to the barrel
No it does not mean a thing just center of optic to the center of barrel . also if say you using a pellet or slug , then verify a few distances so you can validate your true bc to the ammo you use , LOU
At shorter distances you will definitely notice if scope height needs to be adjusted within the program. To get my Strelok scope height dialed I set it close within the program, then in I sight the gun in at 100 yards. I set up a target at 35 yards next and shoot at that using the same 100 yard hold on the bullseye, (hitting high by 3" or so based on my setup). Then, measuring the 35 yard target's point of impact's difference to the bullseye will give you a number close whatever the Strelok app says. With that measurement number you can use it to reference and make small adjustments to the scope height measurement numbers in Strelok until both the measurement and the
program match.
You could use a shorter yardage number for sight in, but you should use the mid-range target based on the highest hold-under number. Mine just happened to be 35 yards.
