Strelok Pro query

I have attempted to contact the maker, but no avail; hence a post here

Has anyone noticed the following. Set up strelok pro for your configuration, and calculate your hold over for 10M. Than change the units from metric to imperial. Your hold over at 11yards is different. This difference between metric and imperial units is true at pretty much all distances i tried by few clicks. Also, it looks like chairgun and strelok pro are in sync when units are set to metric.

Any thought as to how to correct the issue?

Yes mine is too. Metric for distances and scope. Fps for speed. It is an amazing app.
I think the discrepancies in the clicks is probably in the conversation metric to imperial and if your changing from Mrad to MOA that will make even more difference.
It is a great feeling when the maths works and a pellet sails out 80m++ and ends up where strelok says it should!

It's due to the "rounding" of the numbers when converting. Go from 10m in Metric to Imperial and it notes 11yds. Then go back to metric (without changing anything else) and it will be 10.1m

Thanks!

I played with conversions: changed nothing in the program set up, but units from imperial to metric and back. Converted metric to imperial and back with the result of 10.0M -> 11.0yards. 0 was a consistent decimal digit. I am not sure what is different in our set ups

Then i looked at the tables produced by the Strelok Pro, and it looks to me that 10 yards is producing the same result as 10M - 62clicks, while 11 yards produces 49 clicks. I do not know of a way to attach excel to this thread, i have an SS with results and setup on my pc. If someone is interested, i'd be happy to forward. Ping me via PM.

thanks, tony
