Strelok, Chairgun & Other programs and Ballistic Coefficients....

I finally set enough time aside to read and understand (to the best of my ability) the AZ and Yrrah posts.

As my serious shooting is at the distances less than 50yds it is comforting that I will see only a small variation between Chairgun and real life.

I also comment that (referencing AZ comparisons) the differences are so small out to 30 yds that they are overshadowed by wind and my shooting skills.

So, for me, more time building range charts from imperical means rather than relying on Chairgun and the attendant worries about the inaccuracies of pellet weight, muzzle fpe, scope height, and bc.

YES!

Regretfully, I cannot follow through with AZ's request for a simple "yes or no." I feel as if I need to briefly explain my situation and relationship with AZ. I do not know him personally, nor have a ever spoken to him face-to-face. As one with very limited experience with PCP air rifles, but a grown addiction to them (thanks to all kind members of this forum) I posted a question that received many answers and one of those being from AZ. Because our discussion became out of the scope of the posted question he graciously offered to answer my questions privately (like it should be done). I took him up on his offer and we have been speaking off the forum ever since. He truly cares about the sport, the industry, and all the forum members looking to learn from the more "seasoned" airgunners. I admire his knowledge and experience, however, his willingness to provide meaningful and detailed information, as well as, help others is priceless for a forum like this. After all, isn't his what a forum is all about? Even with the limited personal communication I have had with AZ I consider him a great friend.

So AZ, hopefully you stay and continue to provide great topics to discuss for members like me, but if you go... you'll still be hearing from me. I have a lot to learn. Thanks for all you do.

AZ

I sent you a PM last week regarding your 3390 word essay about trying to discredit another member. Again today your 3428 word rant was removed because it contained almost zero productive information. You claim that this is not a popularity contest, yet your words dictate otherwise. I’m not about to scrutinize the different ways that people think, who is right or wrong, or who stepped on whose toes. If you have some useful information then by all means please share it with the community. But if you don't have anything insightful or production to contribute then don't tap those keys (this goes for everyone).
