Stoeger X20S

I have an X20S and the best improvement you can make is put a GRX or Charlie the tuna trigger in it. The stock trigger is horrific. But still, i was never able to get it to shoot anywhere near as good as my old beeman R9 or HW30s. Because of that i dont shoot it anymore. At 25 yards the HWs all shoot under a half inch. The X20s would was doing good if it did 1.5 inches at 25 yards.

If yours shoots better, put anew trigger in it. But if not. Maybe pick up one of those Walther Terrus rifles that AA and PA have for something like $150. Thats a good deal.

I own a several years old X20S in .22 and I've installed the GRT lll trigger... it DOES make a huge difference... as does quality optics, but I'm also a realist and could not compare it to HW or Beeman barrel quality. My rifle shoots Crosman 14gr ammo fairly well with numerous red squirrels eliminated out to 35yds. 

I only one one Stoeger... and have only tested to 20-yards so far. Just got it a couple months ago.
