STO Mus Moderator (vs Ronin)

I have a Wildcat 0.30 with a DonnyFL Ronin and have been pretty happy with it. But I have close neighbors and would always like to be quieter...

Just saw this (impressive) test report on the Silent Thunder Ordinance blog:

https://www.silentthunderordnance.com/blog

(Moderator comparison is towards the bottom of the list)

If this data is indeed accurate, it looks like the Mus would make my WC 0.30 significantly quieter than my Ronin while also being quite a bit lighter. I’m definitely intrigued....

Would any of you guys having direct experience with these moderators please share your thoughts?

My only facts that I can offer are these. I own two of STO's products. The Edgun leshiy baffle and a Levitas. Hopefully I got one of the spellings correct there.

The baffle insert in the Leshiy, with my set up. You'd be hard press to find something that quiet. The Levitas, I bought to go on a full power 25 FX Crown. One because of the weight second was price factor.

Testing, A friend purchase a 25 Dreamline the same time I purchased the set up for the Levitas on my 25 Crown. We swapped back and forth. I feel my Crown was shooting a bit hotter than his Dreamline, but overall against the Donny. You'd be hard press to the tell the difference behind the rifle. One had a POI shift the other did not. There might have been a difference down range but no one was willing to run down there and see.

I'm interested to see what you find out, and please let us know the results.

I have a couple Donnyfl and a levitas the main 2 things I like about the levitas over the Donny is weight and no metallic ring. On my streamline 22 I sometimes get a metallic ring with the Donny. I noticed my gun shot higher with the sto and had less barrel droop. Both are good for their size.

Heck I barely shoot my streamline anymore, guess I need to get it out. I’ve got a bat mod on my r5m and shoot it most of the time.
