Steyr Hunting 5 sling options

Watch out for the very thin wood at the fore end of the gun. I'd highly recommend getting an adapter that connects to the air cylinder for the front instead of drilling. An adapter can be found like this one here: https://www.krale-schietsport.nl/en/bipod-adapter-fx-tubeclamp.html

The butt end of the rifle should be no trouble. I'd recommend a recessed connection on the back for a clean look like found here: https://www.krale-schietsport.nl/en/sling-swivel-connection-recknagel-built-in-with-recess.html

I have installed a sling on my Hunting 5. You can see it in the for sale forum here....

One of the photos clearly shows the insert and location. I installed the push button type, so the inserts are flush with the stock and do not stick out. It does however, make it a little high carry.

The inserts are Grov-Tech.

But the cylinder is removable, in fact you have to remove if to fill the cylinder........

They have a fill probe option, just like the rest of the airgun world, so no more removal is necessary.
