Ok so I have a Steyr Hunting 5 semi auto and removed the barrel for cleaning. I had no trouble re installing and aligning the barrel to the magazine. It functioned flawlessly. Now I have 8 mags. When I was out hunting, some mags stuck, some worked fine. By what I mean stuck, it just wouldn’t move to the next pellet. It wasn’t seized, I could move it along with my finger. I’m guessing some mags are slightly wider so my question would be this. While I know I can ID the larger ones and adjust the barrel to them. OR is it a weak spring that advances the mag and I should order a replacement. Have any other owners had this problem?

It might be a weak spring, but my guess is your barrel is slightly misaligned and pinching the magazines. It has happened to me on occasion and was always fixed with proper barrel alignment. It doesn't take much over-tightening to throw the barrel out of line. Try indexing with one of the magazine you think might be larger.
