Standardized pesting permission "form"?

What do you mean when things go wrong? Which they shouldn't, but if you damage equipment, own up and pay for damages. As far as livestock? None of your shots should endanger them either... Just approach the landowner, introduce yourself and take it from there. Once you have a permission and are trusted, treat it like the privilege it is.

Thanks for the reply and I agree. However, you never know and without a document describing liabilities, etc. The pester stands in some legal limbo as handshake/oral agreements are only as valid as the "paper" they are written on, even with witnesses. In a perfect world, you are correct. We don't live in a perfect world.

Even the best of us make mistakes. I was just curious.

BTW, I have no intention of seeking out or obtaining pesting permissions myself. Pesting in my backyard is enough for me. I was just curious if anyone had come up with such a document/form to use for these pesting permissions. Covering your ass legally isn't a silly idea. If you have ever been sued, you would know this. (wizened grin/sigh)

What you are doing is "asking permission" to hunt unwanted birds and animals from a mans place of business.. It's a simple as that. You like doing it because you want to video the hits, take pics of the quarry and share them or like the sound of a JSB on meat... The owner doesn't want them there because of cost $$$... You start talking about legalities any other bla bla bla and the owner will promptly ask you to leave..
