Stacking arrows (literally) FX Verminator

Hey guys,

Shot the FX at 50 yards for the first time today and the inevitable happened. I’m really impressed with the accuracy at this distance, considering the 2x scope that’s on it! Shooting 100gn field tips. This thing is fun, but carbon crossbow bolts aren’t cheap! Hahaa

Nice shooting, I learned over 20+ years ago not to try and group my arrows except at 3-d shoots then I want to try and hit the other guys arrow if it’s in the 10 to get me in but I’ve learned over the years that RobinHoods are fun but with the new arrows it can be expensive and now that I shoot crossbow it’s even worse smacking arrows, I really like the Morrell range bags and the block, the range bags have 20 separate targets on one side to hit so you don’t wreck arrows and the Block is good also.

I have been eyeing a Verminator since I started airgunning last year being a long time archer and last eight years of crossbow but until Minnesota allows a air operated bow I’ll hold off for now.

Been a bow / x-bow hunter for almost 30 years, so I’m “fairly” familiar with broadheads, lol. Should have bought an arrow gun years ago. Not many things make me giddy anymore, but this contraption certainly does. No plans to deer hunt with it (not legal in MI) but I have a LOT of other plans for it (think invasive fish, invasive reptiles) ? Meantime, I’ll try not to destroy any more carbon bolts, hehe.

@Imold Yes, I recall you being a serious archer from waay back. This gun is fun, but it is NOT archery. Kind of a novelty with the arrow barrel, but addictive nonetheless! I want to get a .22 barrel for it and shoot medium weight ammo around 30fpe. Should get a million shots per fill. Bought it here on AGN and it included some bow fishing arrows and an adapter to install an AMS retriever. This will allow me to check the “fish” off my airgun bucket list. Birds, mammals were a done deal 35 years ago, haha. Then it’s off to PR for “reptiles”. Bought it cheap, so I’ll take it places / do things with it I’d never do with my other guns. Can’t wait
