Squirrel Season Opened in MA

Was able to take one squirrel this afternoon after having three run around but not give me a good shot. This one just sat there and looked at me so I let the .30 Maverick do the job.

Have it shooting 50gr FX pellets at 905fps; took it at 25 yards. First hunt with my new Athlon Midas Tac scope...

@ram2jeep if I’m here, have a gun (the taipan is still in Idaho and waiting to get the next one ) I’m all for it, plus I need air source too. I do have a close friend here in Texas who’s family has a small 250 acres ranch we could probably get permission to do some pesting or squirrel hunting on. When I can I want to curse some dairies to scope them out for permission, generally I have good luck getting access. 


oh forgot, one of the neighbors married into a Texas family with half a million acres so maybe there I could access too. And his pups love me so always a bonus, but they are golden retrievers so less bragging rights 😂
